These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Vanity Text SMS/MMS messaging service (the “Service”), operated by Grey Swan Signals LLC (doing business as Vanity Text).
Vanity Text is a novelty and entertainment service. When you text our number, we reply with the words your phone number spells on a telephone keypad. If you reply to select one of those spellings, we send you a contact card (vCard) you can save to your device.
Consent to receive these messages is not required to use this service, and is not a condition of any purchase. There is no account to create and no form to complete. Texting us is entirely voluntary: if you choose to text our number, you are asking us to reply, and that request is your consent to receive that reply. If you do not want to receive messages, simply do not text us.
Messaging consent is not bundled with these Terms or with any other agreement. Messages are user-initiated — we do not message you unless you have first texted us, and you may reply STOP at any time to stop them.
From time to time we may invite you to opt in to an additional, optional feature (for example, a personalized song). Any such opt-in would be separate, clearly described, and entirely voluntary; declining it does not affect your use of this service.
Message frequency varies based on your interactions with the Service. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan.
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to carrier availability and conditions.
The Service is provided “as is,” for novelty and entertainment purposes only, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Vanity spellings are generated automatically and may not be meaningful. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grey Swan Signals LLC disclaims all warranties and shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
We may modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
